Local Art Club Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Special Exhibition

Guiseley Art Club is celebrating 25 years of creativity with a special Anniversary
Exhibition & Sale on 1st and 2nd November 2025 at Guiseley Methodist Church,
Oxford Road.

Founded by the late Joan Hobson in July 2000, the club has grown into a thriving
community hub for artists of all abilities. Over the years, it has hosted annual
exhibitions and welcomed guest artists from across Yorkshire who have inspired
members through a wide range of workshops and demonstrations.

The anniversary exhibition will showcase hundreds of original artworks, most
for sale, alongside unframed pieces, cards, and a large selection of craft items.
Visitors can also enjoy:
Free entry, parking and level access
Teas, coffee, homemade food and cakes
A tombola with great prizes

Club Chair Janis said: “Reaching 25 years is a huge milestone for us. This
exhibition is a celebration of our members’ creativity and the community that
has supported us over the years. This year we gave honorary membership to two
of longest members, Mary Williamson and Frank Parkinson who joined the club 25 years ago.”

The event is open to everyone, making it the perfect opportunity to discover local
talent and take home a unique piece of art.
