Another successful exhibition was greatly enjoyed by members and visitors. The club were pleased to make a donation of £153 to the Forget Me Not Cafe a local charity for people with Alzheimer and their carers. If you would like to join them for a chat and coffee they meet at Yeadon Cricket Club on the first Wednesday of the month from 1.30 to 3.00 contact 0113 2504992.

The cafe did a roaring trade, tombola was a great success not to mention the many paintings sold and admired. The public choose a pastel painting, Rosy Reds by Christine Thomas as their favourite. A deserving winner with out a doubt. This is Christine's second such win this year. Another of her pastel paintings was chosen by the public at Menston Art Clubs spring exhibition. Well done Christine.

A big thank you to the many volunteers who worked so hard to make this exhibition a great event for both the members and the visitors. We would like to thank all the visitors who came and enjoyed viewing our work and for taking a painting or craft item home with them. It is such a thrill to know that someone wanted to own a piece of our art work. Thanks for coming and thanks for all your support.
